And when you finish it but feel like you want more, come and check out the sequel – Glass Masquerade 2: Illusions, because it seems to be even better than the first one.

Glass Masquerade 2: Illusions is a beautiful artistic puzzle game that is going to put your mind to work, while pleasing all of your artistic senses with its gorgeous graphics. And when I say gorgeous, I mean it. The look of this game reminds me of the festive atmosphere of the annual Venice Carnival where people wear fancy and over-the-top but nonetheless gorgeous masks. Maybe, it’s just me, I don’t know, but it does. It is probably just me, because according to the developers, the game is inspired by the style of Art Deco and 20th century stained glass artisans.

This explains a lot because the way you build the puzzles in Glass Masquerade is by putting together pieces of what seems like broken stained glass. The tricky part is that their colors are hidden, you are only able to see the outline of each piece. And the puzzle you are putting together is in the shape of a circular portal. By completing the puzzle you unlock the portal and you find yourself on a journey of illusions across a tangled mind. You will also unveil clocks and themes that were exhibited by various cultures of the world at the “International Times Exhibitions”. This is an interactive electronic show that includes 25 country attendees like Argentina, Canada, China, India, Russia, USA and more.

Each puzzle is a piece of art that the developers have carefully crafted. And if you find it calming to put puzzles together or you just enjoy doing it for fun and are looking for something that has the potential to satisfy the artist in you (because, come on, we all have one hiding inside. Even the not so creative people like me) then you should definitely try Glass Masquerade 2: Illusions. Originally, it was planned the game to come out in January this year, but it was postponed for February. But that only gives you the chance to try the first game. And for the sequel, just add it to your wishlist.
