Embrace the VR Race with Mace and Grace

I believe that VR was created for the sole purpose of making games where you kill flying pantless enemies. And to my surprise, the market is not flooded with games like that. Like, why do even the robots in Robo Recall have pants on? They are robots. It’s not like they will get cold. At least I found one game that does it right. Mace and Grace, where you kill exclusively pantless bad guys.

What’s the catch?

There is no catch. None of them are actually wearing pants. They all fly at you in their boxers.

You: But why?

Me: How should I know? I just know that it’s hilarious and that more games should be like that.

Why are pantless dudes flying at me?

Again, I have no idea why they are pantless. In regard to why they are flying at you, I actually know why. They are trying to get to the princess. Let me explain. You are a giant protecting you Grace and Kingdom from the oncoming onslaught. And the reason why they are attacking is because they want to steal your beautiful woman. See, I know stuff… Not why they aren’t wearing pants though.

How to stop an attack

Do not try this at home, unless you are an actual giant. Grab a weapon for each hand and bash their skulls in. The harder you hit the enemy flying at you, the more points you will get. You can also catch new weapons out of the air. So far you can get a spear, mace, axe, club or crossbow. And if you feel extra badass, you can toss all weapons to the side and use your huge fists to bring the pain.

If you feel your inner giant viking trying to get out, check out Mace and Grace on Steam. It works with HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and WMR. It is still in Steam Early Access, which is good news, because it means that the game will keep getting better and better. Maybe they will even put on some pants.
